In recognition of Medical Laboratory Professionals Week (Lab Week) 2025, La Falaise Medical Laboratory Ltd., a trusted leader in diagnostic services for over 30 years, celebrated its dedicated healthcare community through a week filled with meaningful activities and acts of appreciation.

Lab Week, observed annually during the last full week of April, honors the crucial role of laboratory professionals in healthcare. Established in 1975 by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS), the week highlights the vital contributions of medical laboratory scientists and technicians who perform essential diagnostic testing that guides medical decisions and safeguards patient health. This year’s celebration took place from April 20th to 26th.

Throughout the week, La Falaise emphasized its commitment to community and collaboration by engaging in several initiatives. Notably, the laboratory made a donation to the Dominica China Friendship Hospital, reinforcing its dedication to supporting healthcare partnerships. During the donation ceremony, La Falaise employee Terryanne Caprice expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, “Today, as part of our Lab Week initiatives, we go beyond celebration—we give back. This gesture is a symbol of our gratitude for the partnership we’ve shared over the years, and our shared commitment to improving healthcare in our country.”

In addition to the donation, La Falaise treated its customers with exclusive discounts and treats at its branches, fostering appreciation and engagement within the community.

Now in its 33rd year of operation, La Falaise Medical Laboratory continues to uphold its mission of providing accurate, timely, and customer-focused diagnostic services. The Lab Week celebrations served as a reminder of the laboratory professionals’ indispensable role in healthcare, as well as the importance of collaborative efforts to enhance medical care in the region.
