At the risk of having to dodge verbal bullets, I must say that it’s about high time that promoters in general do away with the sexist swimsuit segment of pageants.
No need to keep parading our young ladies in skimpy swimwear. Why not let their natural beauty, intelligence and talent be the only criteria..….Sincerely, father of four beatiful and intelligent daughters!!!
Dominicas men must have had a field day, salivating for the best part of an hour. I mean at the end of the day, that’s what this entire monkey business is all about. Nothing more nothing less.
I fully agree. OR give them all the same swimsuit like how the Miss America pageant does. So its not about the swimsuit but how the girls look in it.
If you throw what these women are wearing in the fire, the crutch would burn first because of the toxic gas. These creatures do not honor their bodies. What a shame. Rottenness has Dominica stinking; even in their lyrics they disrespect their parents. These are the half humans predicted in scripture not having “Natural Affection.” In that case, they are not completely human – and by their fruits you shall know them. I just want to remind those of us who live for God and fear Him; that this is just the beginning. It’s also been written, that “unless God shortens the time, no flesh would be saved.” This means things will get very very bad and out of control for the human society.

Sharon, good to find someone who remember and recognized the little boy son fu Ma John. I love my Mama to this day. The last time I had heart surgery, when I was waking up from the anesthesia, I called out for her asking her to pray for me, I talked about her so much the doctors wanted to know about this Mamama Ren I was while practically asleep and unconscious!
Anyway, what seem to be an ordinary entertaining pageant show, is nothing than an sexual pornographic exploitation of these unsuspecting young ladies!
It is the first time in my life I’ve ever seen a half-naked man on stage during a carnival queen selecting show.
Never seen such anywhere in that sort of show!
Notice all the women are particularly thin, tall, struggling to pose on seven inches high heal shoe, it’s a wonder they did not dress them in G-strings.

Some of these women have no business wearing G-String half naked on the street weather it is carnival or not. Men Dominica in my eyes are tossed to the birds. Then we are talking about sexual harrasment. Men go by site and keep what they see and lust after that. With Class how can you have men you don’t even know rubbing on your behind? What do they expect. Men this is distasteful.

Sadly, high heels and provocative “swimwear” rather than augmenting the beauty of the human form, reduce it to the status of a sex symbol.
As a painter and sculptor, I pay homage to the natural, God-given beauty of the nude figure. If I wanted my models to look sexy I’d dress them in high heels and a bikini.
I mean those contestants if that’s what they are; are the most miserable looking women I have ever seen vying for a Carnival queen crown in the history of our country.
The worst of it all is seeing the half-naked man in a connor staring down the women as a beast a prey. Only in Dominica we see that sort of thing as a first, but as everything else Dominica is the first in all things even to be the first and only resilient country on planet earth.
What I am viewing has every making of a sleazy porn video; that is a representation of pornography!
