What the heck I seeing there nou? Why is China even using our national day to mock us about independence when they know damn well that Skerrit hijacked our independence and enslaved us to China.
When we became independent in 1975, we could build roads, bridges, hospitals, health centers, schools just to name a few. 47 years later Roosevelt Skerrit didn’t only say we can’t work but backed that statement by giving China contracts to build every damn thing while he turned our young people into Paros and vagrants all over Dominica.
Yesterday I read a statement by the last surviving independent minister, Hon Oj Seraphim, and my eyes were filled with tears as he stated the motivation behind getting independence from Britain and the unity that abounded way back then. Today Skerrit destroyed, divided and took our country from us and made us slaves to China. So according to PM Skerrit in his “go to hell” speech let me say to Hell with Skerrit, to Hell with China and to hell with dependency
