      DLP has control of the majority of constituencies so naturally anything that happens will most likely happen in a DLP constituency. You have to also take into consideration that these types of crimes typically happen in highly populated areas like towns and cities of which 3/4 major populated areas in the country are controlled by the DLP. That being said it’s not like you can make the claim that DLP supporters have a higher tendency towards crime because we’ve seen the behavior of the other side as well

        Bro,no claim was made ; a question was asked. Another question : do you have a guilty conscience ? Don’t indict yourself!!

        I never believe I would read anything sensible coming from Bwa-Banday.Weeks is all talk,Luckie is all talk those guys were book police.not action police.KK Williams and Wayne James are late comers. There is the action police, those who drove the DREADS back to society, those involved in the overthrow in 1979.Those involved in operation RED DOG,those who prevented the takeover of police headquarters in 1981.Those who went to Grenada as members of the CPF and those who were trained by the 7th Special Forces 82nd Airborne. The police officers like Nicholas George.Joshua James,Evans John,Philsbert Alfred,Gabriel St.Jean,Duke Saverine,Green CR.Kelvin Albert.Cyprien Defore and Labour power who, refused to let a block or ghetto take shape in Dominica. When the blue party won in 1995 the first thing they did was to look for the police prostate gland. They destroyed Esprit de corps, the brotherhood and the togetherness, they put brother against brother and friend against friends.POLITICS took over.

    Bring back the good old 80’s SSU tatics souplay where criminals quivered at he mere thought of being caught. They knew good old policing would have them behind bars or in the grave. Contract men like Weekes, KK Williams, Duke, Alpe, Butcher, Wayne James, Lucky as Superintendents and let them put strategies in place to fight this scourge. They should be empowered to bring back a few of the no nonsense old heads in a special squad.

    Criminals are laughing at the current police leadership because they are clueless. Its time to start day-kar-laying those rouges and vagabonds with no mercy. Oh where is the legendary SHADOW aka Joshua James when u need him? Too much political interference in police work have crippled the police force leaving the officers handcuffed for a number of years now. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: Time to clean up Ma Dominique!

    Here’s how we solve this problem:

    1) A complete ban on marijuana and draconian enforcement of prohibition. These types of individuals involved in these crimes also use or sell weed.

    2) A complete crackdown on loitering – no more “blocks”, no more gatherings of mass amounts of young men with no purpose. The police should be routinely stopping at these gatherings and searching and questioning everyone present

    3) Strict enforcement of road safety regulations – seatbelts, helmets for riders etc. These type of people abhor law and order so stringent enforcement is an easy way to smoke them out

    4) Random stop and frisk of suspicious individuals. And we all know the profile – big chains, certain brands of clothing, pants hanging off their butts etc

    The problem however is that probably 90% of the country would have a problem with these measures. And that’s the key. It doesn’t matter who the government is this problem will continue because the problem is THE PEOPLE

    I wonder if is a toy gun that was used? I guess the DPP will tells us if is a toy gun that was used or if these shooters became criminals because they learned the art with toy guns.
    One thing for sure is, since Skerrit and Blackmore them rushed to legalize Ganja not only are we seeing more Paros but also more blood shed because drugs and guns walk hand in hand

    I’m out of words and don’t know what to say and I don’t even want to say to accept my sympathy anymore for these type of deaths because to me that’s out of style now. So at this time all I will say is the labor potato garden sure seems to be loaded with worms and Skerrit, Ian and the rest sure need to do something about it, because it’s what is taking place in Possie now is very sad

    The blood letting continue unabated. The sad thing is that one policy makers and law enforcement are totally clueless as to measures that can be put in p!ace to arrest this scourge of incessant violence.

    Are these murderers using toy guns to kill? The streets are awash with illicit guns and ammunition. The question is: What strategic plans have been put in place by law enforcement to confiscate most of these illegal lethal weapons?

    This is true. Our Police Force is exceptionally brilliant at using physical force on peaceful and unarmed civilians. However, lethargic and abysmal at using intelligence in solving crime or curbing criminal activity.

      @Ibo France
      The thing is while those very very incompetent parl rep police were extremely busy following elderly men and women walking in Roseau on a Wednesday, while they were busily involved in all things aimed at crippling the opposition, those criminals were arming themselves. The worse thing in any country, anywhere in the world, is a police force with no leadership, and a police force that is controlled by very very corrupt and nasty politicians.
      By the way, do you know who is Dominica’s minister of National Security? If you don’t, can you please ask Tete Kalbas Austrie? I mean the self professed rotweiler (dog).I am sure he will have a lot to tell you.
