The Kiwanis Nature Island Club of Dominica brought joy and holiday cheer to 32 young students during their annual Christmas celebration on Saturday, December 27, 2025. The event took place at the Goodwill Primary School Auditorium and marked a special festive occasion filled with excitement, as per a club press release.

Transforming the venue into a winter-themed wonderland, club members reportedly organized a day packed with entertaining activities, music, treats, and surprises, and what they say was the most anticipated moment–the arrival of Santa Claus, who personally handed out gifts to each of the children.

According to Mary Winston, President of the Kiwanis Nature Island Club, ‘This event is at the heart of our mission to serve the children of Dominica,” said President of the Kiwanis Nature Island Club Mary Winston,” Seeing the joy on these children’s faces reminds us why we do this work every year. We’re grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, and the Goodwill Primary School for making it possible.”

Over the years, the Kiwanis organization reports that it has organized various community initiatives aimed at inspiring hope and providing opportunities for local families.
