Lagon Street Jam is on tonight

The annual Lagon Street Jam happens tonight.

The event, which is one of the highlights of the carnival season ,will see the performances of various calypsonians and is expected to begin from 8:00 PM.

Patrons always show up in large numbers to support their favourite calypsonian.

Although most of the performers come from the Stardom Calypso Tent, tonight is open to any calypsonian who wants to perform.

The Lagon Street Jam is organized by ‘The Swingin Stars Band’ and started way back in the 1980’s.
