Little Go Getters Dominica crafts school tour to teach students Sustainable Development Goals

Following the June 2025 launch of  The Little Go Getter Dominica Movement by recruitment and Human resource firm, Outsource Development, the “Little Go Getters – Back to School ‘Learning is Fun'” educational tour is set for this week.

Described in a media statement as aiming to motivate children to foster creativity, problem-solving skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit, the organization said it partnered with National Bank of Dominica (NBD), Jollys Pharmacy, Corp-Eff, Auto Trade Ltd., and Express Courier to make the initiative a reality. According to the team, the beloved children’s book series featuring Gabby, an energetic eight-year-old whose innovative ideas are brought to life through collaboration, perseverance, and resilience, is central to the movement.

Organizers state that the school visit will offer engaging and participatory experiences for students, emphasizing learning about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It aims to inspire students to think globally and understand their role in larger societal issues. The tour will incorporate practical, hands-on exercises that foster creativity and collaboration through engagement.

This week, the tour is taking place at Morne Prosper Primary School, with the support of the NBD team. The event aims to inspire Grade 3 and Grade 4 students to become the next generation of Little Go Getters–” resilient, innovative, and ready to achieve great things.”
