Kudos to the young people who had the idea and executed on it by holding this rally to bring awareness to this killing. Kenny was not my brother, son, relative or friend, but he was a young Dominican man whose life was cut short and for that, there should be justice for him. Some of the comments here are so cold – like we have lost our ability to care for others. When will we become our brother’s keeper? When will be able to look at others and see ourselves in them?

Is that lady there for a protest or for a modeling photo shoot. All those big bright smiles, enticing body movements, making love to the cameras, etc. she should be more serious than that.

What about justice for my nephew that was murdered down there last year? Black lives don’t matter when it’s black on black crime?

Where do we ever see healing without JUSTICE?
I am proud to know that a daughter of the soil can assist in speaking up for one of our sons. STOP being bias people!
I live in the UK with my 3 sons, 2 of which are Dominican born.
If it were one of my sons (GOD forbid) is that the same foolish opinion that would be published?
For a selfish race or person, if it hasn’t come to our doorstep is “just pray about it” but when it hit our doorsteps we sing to a different tune.
    Think people think!
If this happened to the PM of Dominica’s son… Wouldn’t hell freeze over???
Justice is for all. And the world demonstrated this in the case of George Floyd. I cannot stand a biased person.
Let tourism respect our country and the Caribbean. It is time for them to respect our laws as well.

When that American killed my fellow Dominican man and was allowed to travel back to America I knew he was going to get away with murder and people like you criticize me for saying so the American system is evil 😈 throughout and will never change no amount of prayer will help it is time black people wake up order wise we all will be dead.

When was the last time a census was done? How do you know how many people are here? No official or any count was done after Hurricane Maria. I say we have 50,000 people.
