You forgot to add in a crumbling economy in a crumbling country, we can have our own opinions but all we ask is just be honest.
Stop making a fool of yourself.People do not leave Dominica because things are bad.They leave because they BELIEVE things are better on the other side.If you lived in the USA you would know.On September 1st 2021 Skerrit raised the minimum wage from $4.50 to $7.50.Nobody in Dominica work for less than $1000 for a 160 hour month.There are thousands who benefit from the $250,000 $300,000 and $400,000 free houses and apartments.There are thousands of foreigners working in Dominica on different projects,while the blue bugs are being injected with the do nothing virus.The Haitians were brought to Dominica to dig fig(banana)holes and plant shoe(Tanias).The Spanish came to Dominica as prostitutes.The Spanish and Haitians run things while the blue nothing acolytes are smoking weed and drinking rum.You,I want to help should be ashamed of yourself to watch foreigners who came to Dominica with nothing get rich with money made in your land.The blues are slaves,with jealousy,greed,laziness and lies
You must have just been released from jail because you are stuck in 2019, Spanish have long left Dominica and Haitian are going back to Haiti, the weed smokers and rum drinkers you mention are the do nothing beggers that labour power have created, uwp supporter have been on their own for 25years so they are equipped to survive the economic collapse that is a coming.
There are reasons for concern .Dominica only has two banks. let’s assume if there was plenty of buissiness and economic activitie they would not have left.The other point is more Dominicans should be employed on these projects, upskilling and learning new and improved techniques. The average standard of living for Dominica 🇩🇲 people has not improved in 20yrs of this Labour government. Now there projects are coming together but its too little and too late.When the students get degrees and educated they don’t return ɓecause there is no economic development.
Roosevelt has declared himself the sole commissioner of the electoral commission. He alone decides whatever reforms should be done despite the many meetings on this very topic.
You cannot treat the devil with kids’ gloves and expect him to acquiesce to your requests. The corrupt electoral system is what have kept Roosevelt and his unscrupulous jelly fish in power.
Mr. Fontaine wants to play pacifist when the situation calls for militancy without the destruction of property and infrastructure. Turn the other cheek and genuine good faith negotiations may work with reasonable people. Roosevelt is not a reasonable person.
Mr. Fontaine: Only through hardship, sacrifice and militant action can freedom be won. Your present approach to disposing a tyrant from office is greatly flawed. Your pacifist philosophy, coupled with your absenteeism from the job on the ground, is like a car with a punctured tire. UWP is not going anywhere far.
