As the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) gears up to celebrate another exciting ‘police week’ this year, Acting Chief of Police Lincoln Corbette revealed that one of the highlights is a planned parade in the streets of La Plaine.
He made the announcement during a press conference held recently.
Police Week is scheduled to take place from September 21 to 28, 2025, under the theme: “Serving with Pride, Protecting with Purpose.”
“We will have a series of activities, to include a church service at the La Plaine Catholic Church,” he said. “We will also have a parade in the streets of La Plaine on that day.”
He also mentioned a social night, gospel night, and, exhibition amongst other events.
“We will also have a panel discussion on mental health,” Corbette revealed. “So, again, we will give more details as the days get closer.”
He invites the public to join the CDPF in its celebrations to recognize the efforts of the police throughout the year.
