A man from Wesley currently receiving treatment for gunshot wounds at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital (DCFH) following a shooting incident that took place today in Roseau. The incident occurred near Kings Lane, close to River Street and River Bank.
According to information received from the police, the male victim was in a bar at the time of the shooting. The police have started an investigation into the matter.

There is an awash of guns on the streets. Consequently, the citizens are being subjected to a reign of terror. Shootings are too frequent. If this continues, it will detrimental to the already ailing economy.
How ironic!? Instead of the police focus their attention and best efforts to eradicating or drastically this particular crime, they are obsessed with brutalizing, terrorizing and jailing peaceful protesters.
The priorities of law enforcement are badly skewed. But, again, what should we expect from a concoction of crooks, liars, thugs and scoundrels who govern the country.
