
At just nine years old, Malik Ferrol, affectionately known as “De Reverend” from Paix Bouche Primary School, has earned the title of Junior Calypso Monarch for 2026 with his energetic song “Right Up.”
The competition also featured Bijou Nicholas, performing under the stage name “Mighty Jewel” from Convent High School, securing the first runner-up spot.
Faith St. Ville, representing the Dominica Grammar School, finished as the second runner-up.
Meanwhile, young Diamanti Warrington, also age nine, nabbed the title of Junior Bouyon Monarch for 2026. Performing as “Rinser Pop” from St. Luke’s Primary School, he reportedly captivated the judges with his rendition of his song “Free Up.”
First runner-up went to Kirlisa Prince, who goes by “Kim Possible” and attends Convent High School, while Josiah Fagan, known as “King Ziah” from Goodwill Secondary School, took the second runner-up position.
Faith “Queen Melody” St. Ville was Junior Calypso Monarch in 2025, whilst 2025 Junior Bouyon Monarch was Shervez “Moxie Shervey” Seaman.
