Ministry of Education invites public to TVET showcase 2026

The Ministry of Education, Human Resource Planning, Vocational Training and National Excellence is encouraging members of the public to attend TVET Showcase 2026.

This year’s event is being held under the theme, “TVET for Excellence: Showcasing Skills, Breaking Stigmas, Building Futures,” with a showcase designed to highlight the talents, innovation, and hands-on competencies developed by students participating in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes.

As per a press release from the ministry, visitors will have the opportunity to view a variety of displays representing vocational subject areas, including Agriculture, Garment Production, Food and Nutrition, Woodwork, and other technical disciplines. The exhibits are expected to demonstrate the practical knowledge and skills students acquire through TVET education and training.

According to the press release, the event will also underscore the importance of technical and vocational learning in equipping individuals with the tools needed for employment, entrepreneurship, and long-term personal and professional development.

The Ministry is inviting students, parents, teachers, and members of the wider community to attend the showcase and support efforts aimed at promoting skills development, innovation, and excellence in vocational education.

The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Ground Floor of Government Headquarters.
