During this session, he will seek parliamentary approval for the Estimates of Expenditure, which, according to the Office of the Prime Minister, are projected to total EC$1,213,494,398.00.

Furthermore, the statement from the OPM said that her speech will set the tone for the session, emphasizing national priorities and government initiatives for the coming months. The proceedings are scheduled to commence at 10:00 AM, providing a formal platform for the budget presentation and related discussions.

The OPM also shared that members of the public and interested stakeholders can follow the proceedings live through the Government Information Service (GIS) and the Dominica Broadcasting Service (DBS).

      @williams
      correct me if i am wrong but all these outstanding projects comes under the cbi program which i believe funds have been available and approval given by parliament so this 1,213,494,398.00 cannot be for same outstanding projects
      let hope the 1 billion plus dollars is for new projects which will create permanent long employment and development of dca

    You see a man’s face but you can’t see his heart. This man, Dr Irving McIntyre, as a medical practitioner he came across came across as a genteel, gracious, good-natured, amiable, compassionate person.

    Now he has sold his soul to the devil to live as an oligarch. Like his boss, every time he opens his mouth an avalanche of lies pours out.

    The obsession with wealth has led him to intent oral behaviour, greed, selfishness and the embracing of a corrupt government.

    The budgets of the Roosevelt-led kakistocracy consist of monumental: black holes, abysses, gorges, crevices, fissures, vents, chasms and craters. The money falls in and mysteriously disappears forever. Over a billion consistently in recent times.

    Usually, there is a humongous hype generated by the chief crook and his spineless jellyfish to raise the expectations of the people only to fizzle away after the clown show in parliament.

    The national budget has become an exercise in futility. After the loud noise in parliament for days the quality of life worsens with burdensome increase in nuisance taxes and fees. Each budget presentation turns the country into deeper economic quicksand.

    Here we have a medical practitioner parading as an experienced, conscientious economist. This is like placing a great chef in a operating suite to perform brain surgery. It will not work out well.

      @ ibo france, you seem to get BLUE VEX when others are placed in positions that according to you they are not qualified to hold. How did you get qualified to be Mr. Know It All or perhaps Mr. Idiot In Cheif?
