The National Cooperative Credit Union Ltd (NCCU) is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of the former First Domestic Insurance Company building on King George V Street on Thursday, February 29th, 2024.
The acquisition aligns seamlessly with the institution’s strategic growth plan to increase and diversify the income stream, a major and immediate advantage at this time.
The newly acquired property’s long-term plans will see NCCU members benefiting from the launching of a Corporate Branch to serve the business arm of the membership. This new branch will address the many issues of convenience raised by corporate members over the years.
In existence as the NCCU for thirteen (13) years, the Credit Union is the largest in the OECS with a membership of over 52,000. The NCCU last year revealed its new look and tagline undertaking a major rebranding project that saw the move from the known tagline of “One Big Family” to “Your Community Financial Partner”. As the institution continues to rebrand, this new acquisition helps to solidify its commitment to serving every member of the community.
Cannot comprehend why they would make an issue out of paying fees for running their businesses in Roseau. That is one way of increasing government revenue. Makes total sense to me. That should always be the price we should pay for living and running a business in a civilized and democratic society. Kudos to the NCCU. That should also be the social responsibility of all businesses operating in our cities and villages. That is progress at its core.
It doesn’t matter how big of a building you all acquire the tellers will still operate at the same slow speed or slower. And why didn’t you all give more dividends on people’s savings and lower interest rates on mortgages and loans for the next 15 years? UWP will not charge you all a cent. You all are now ask to the labor government $1000.00 from every $10,000.00 you make? Something so. Is the extra poor of us that’s feeling it. But soon the mighty Dollar will die. It’s been predicted and as all the other fulfilled predictions this one will come to pass. When the rich will throw their Bulow lager from their windows and the poor people will just walk by without paying the Bulow no mind, because the dollar will have no use. It’s coming people, it’s coming. Jesus predicted and said concerning the City of Jerusalem, “There shall not be left one stone upon another which shall not be thrown down.” People are buying and selling as they did before Noah’s flood. The day almost gone nite coming
