As reported by Mr Onyeani, the delegation, led by Dr. Gbenga Charles Oladele (MD), the President of the NDA, expressed the Association’s steadfast dedication to promoting unity, collaboration, and development for both communities.

The meeting proved to be highly effective, according to the NDA, providing the representatives with a platform to share the Association’s vision, explore mutual areas of cooperation, and present a portrait to Her Excellency to show appreciation for her leadership and commitment to national advancement.

In his address, Dr. Gbenga Charles Oladele (MD) highlighted the importance of this gathering, stating: “This meeting with Her Excellency represents a defining moment for Nigerians in Dominica. It reaffirms our shared values of inclusivity, development, and cultural exchange while setting the stage for meaningful partnerships that will benefit both communities. We are honored by Her Excellency’s warm reception and look forward to deepening our cooperation in the years ahead.”

The NDA report further states that during the conversation, Her Excellency, Hon. Mrs. Sylvanie Burton, congratulated Dr. Gbenga Charles Oladele and Dr. Mutiu Olagunju on their recent appointments as District Medical Officers (DMO) for the Castle Bruce and Roseau health districts, respectively. She also conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to the delegation for the significant contributions made by Nigerian nationals in Dominica, especially within the healthcare field. Acknowledging the increasing presence of Nigerian healthcare professionals in Dominica, she praised their commitment and service in fortifying the island’s healthcare system.

The Nigeria Dominica Association described itself as “a vital bridge between the Nigerian diaspora and Dominican society”, and pledged to continue “working towards initiatives that promote mutual understanding and growth.”

The Westminister model of government is remnant of feudalism that has failed Europe and other parts of the world that adopted it, it’s flawed. Only those that moved away from it and become dictatorships have been prosperous.
Our only salvation is to return to the model of democracy that Europeans dismantled and totally destroyed on the African continent and enslaved its People in the name of their god jesus, with devastating effect; where we’re stuck.

I encourage you to do just a little research on this before responding to this comment. Hint: it was age-based, and no nuclear weapons pointing at each other to maintain peace or civility.

    Well look bowdel.
Africans dressed as muslin running a Christian school? They were forced to drop their spirituality in exchange for a god in image and likeness of any foreigners with guns. Christians burned and shut down the Africans spirituality, held up 3 fingers and told them is 1 God, here we are today making mockery 💰 🤑. Get back to your Spirituality or fail.

She hasn’t done a thing. And the reality is, a handpicked president doesn’t have to do anything; since the citizens cannot say that they voted for her and she has disappointed them. So lady, sit back and relax and take pictures. The tax payers have no choice but to pay you heftily while they continue to suck salt.

Sometimes I also doubt the effectiveness of the Westminster system. It could be a solution to have an Executive President following the Co-operative Republic of Guyana model: the PM and the President would be the same person.
