Nineteen-year-old Salisbury man charged with murder

Nineteen-year-old Al Camron Burton from Sineku who resides in Salisbury has been charged with the murder of 35-year-old Chervon Devon Larocque of Salisbury.

Burton appeared before a St Joseph Magistrate Court on Thursday, January 16, 2025.

The accused was not required to enter a plea since the charge of murder is an indictable offense and is expected to be tried at the High Court of Justice before a Judge and jury.

He is presently on remand at the Dominica State Prison.

Previous reports from the police indicated that Larocque was stabbed during an altercation in Salisbury at about 11:00 PM, on January 11, 2025.

Emergency services responded swiftly, but despite their efforts, Larocque was pronounced dead on arrival at the St. Joseph Health Center at 11:20 PM.

The preliminary inquiry into the matter is set for June 12, 2025.

Dominica under Roosevelt misrule is in quagmire. These are the realities of living in current Dominica. I will eat my shoes if someone accurately dispute these facts.

*The majority of resident Dominicans are living from hand to mouth ( desperation)
    *Homelessness is growing exponentially
*Unemployment is at an u presented high
*Crime today compared to yesteryear is insane
*Dominica looks and smells like a large landfill ( unsightly – malodorous)
*Most corrupt English-speaking country in the western & Northern hemispheres
*One of the poorest countries in the Caribbean with the richest PM
*The most naturally beautiful island in the region but has the lowest tourist arrivals
*The most over taxed country in the OECS
*Spends most of its income on a do-nothing potbelly government
*Workers are among the lowest paid wth most of their wages & salaries going to pay bills and service debts

One of the BIGGEST problems is – the people chosen to helm the ministries are all grossly…

“I will eat my shoes if someone accurately dispute these facts.” The problem is, YOU must first show that this crap you posted here is factual, a feat that is beyond you; the onus is on you. Otherwise, what is there to “dispute”/refute? How can one refute nothingness?

Garsan, you are a real special breed of koonoomoonoo. Ah tired tell ya dat!
