NOAA predicts above normal 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season.

NOAA Administrator, Dr. Spinrad speaking at the 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season news conference

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is predicting an above-normal 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season.

NOAA Administrator Dr. Rick Spinrad made the disclosure during the 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season news conference which was held at the New York City Emergency Management Department in Brooklyn on Tuesday.

“NOOA is predicting an above-normal 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season which will make this year the 7th consecutive above-normal season,” Dr. Spinrad said.

He continued, “Specifically there is a 65% chance of an above normal season, a 25% change of a near normal season and just a 10% chance of a below normal season.”

Dr. Spinrad said for the range of storms expected, NOAA calls for a 70% probability of the following ranges, “14 to 21 main storms with top winds of at least 39 miles per hour, of these 6 to 10 will become hurricanes, top winds of at least 74 miles per hour and of these, 3 to 6 major hurricanes ranked as category 3, 4 or 5 with top winds of at least 111 miles per hour.”

He thanked the skilled and dedicated forecasters at the National Hurricane Center in Miami who work around the clock to deliver timely and accurate forecasts each and every hurricane season.

The 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season begins on June 1 and ends November 30.

They are lying to us. It’s a strategy to force people to stock up on goods in order for manufacturing companies and businesses to pull in huge profits. This hurricane season is going to be one of the calmest in the region. So there’s no need to worry or panic. Too many liars want to play God. All I causation is to have a flashlight, extra clean drinking water, half dozen of black plastic bags (to put certain things like clothes and paper documents), kerosene, a pair of rubber shoes (boots if possible), keep your cell phone properly charged, some dry food as biscuits and nuts. The most important thing to do is pray to God…NOT TO MARY. And all will be fine. God is the master of the wind and rain. Believe this modern day prophet. We will be fine during this hurricane season.

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 9 Thumb down 6

@ Dog bite you, you are among those people who spend all year waiting for a hurricane to go on your looting spree. You are a ……. The Big liar also profit from hurricane by not giving out the monies which are solely meant for disaster relief. He’s a TEEF and you are a Robber. But we’re not having any such hurricane disaster as people like you hope for. We pray and believe this hurricane season will be mild. You would rejoice to see people’s roofs disappear in the wind so you could get some galvanize. But it won’t happen. Shame on you, Slimy.

Skerrit must be praying vigorously for another hurricane to hit Dominica, in order to get excuses for his airport and to receive donations , to place in his back pocket….leaving the helpless to live under tarpaulin.
