The 2025 OECS Invitational Boxing Championship is set to take place in St Lucia, showcasing emerging boxing talent from across the Caribbean and the Americas.
Organized by the St. Lucia Boxing Association in collaboration with the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission, a press release from the latter says the event aims to bring an international dimension to the regional competition. It further reports that the championship is also supported by the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and the Embassy of France to the OECS.
The event is scheduled for August 1-3, beginning at 7:00 PM, and will be held at the Rodney Bay Pavilion in St Lucia. Organizers say the championship promises to attract a diverse group of young boxers and spectators, adding to St Lucia’s reputation as a hub for regional sporting events.
