L C Mathew, you are another confused UWP ignorant. Are you saying the majority of Dominicans are fools and you are smart? Are you saying the majority of Dominicans are blind and you can see?.The reason why UWP is out for so long,is because in a democracy majority rule.L C is telling Dominicans what the should see and not see.

You do not deserve a dialogue but here: You are the one saying just what you think of yourself. I think every reader who cared to read one or two of your comments get that confirmation. There is something called a dictionary and you could go in there find meaning of stupor. That will help you greatly.. Or not 🤔

The previous administration, having tasted power could find find it within themselves to put the people before their political ambition, so the resorted to fighting among themselves. What St. Kitts now have is the same rotten group that was once led by one of the most corrupt politicians in the Caribbean- Denzel Douglas.

Is that the same Denzel Douglas that was in possession of a Dominican diplomatic passport? Need I say more? What a saint OUR CM is.

There is most definitely a wind of change blowing across the OECS. St. Lucia, Grenada, and now St. Kitts-Nevis have witnessed that change.

The next destination of this change is Antigua-Barbuda. Megalomaniacal, ego-driven, grossly incompetent Gaston Browne will be the next casualty.

Dominica last again, as ever! What a dunce population. They love free flights, burnt chicken wings, free rum, free concerts and they do not even mind dead people being on their voters list.

Nothing lasts forever. Change is inevitable. All those who believe that they will rust in power are sadly mistaken. The only thing that doesn’t change is change itself.

Congratulations to Dr. Drew the new prime minister. Do right for your people. Share the resources of the state equitably. Treat all with fairness and respect regardless of their political affiliation.

Roosevelt, take warning. Your day of reckoning will come. Your future actions will determine whether you will go out in glory or shame and infamy. Amend your ways.

@Ibo France, how long Skerrit continue his rapid development of this once impoverished country (under UWP), is all up to us (the voting majority). We will allow Skerrit as many terms as he like to continue with his development plans and projects which we are all benefitting from. Why would we want to throw out our ‘twis poul’ and settle for ‘back and neck’?

Never in its entire history has our country been more impoverished than under the stewardship of this CM. Having said that, nowadays we also have a few millionaires and at least one billionaire courtesy of the sale of our passports and other financial shenanigans. The average Dominican is poorer than ever.

Eagle-Eyes, I can clear!y see that you are taking a chance at comedy. Stick to your regular job.

Why is an incoherent, ultra-selfish, glutinous despot in office for this length of time? One word – CORRUPTION!

Roosevelt presides over a tainted, illegitimate administration that is comprised of a mixture of neophytes, dinosaurs, and unscrupulous characters.

Why is Dominica the least developed and ‘next-to-nothing’ jurisdiction in the English-speaking Caribbean? Wanton mismanagement of the country’s human, natural and financial resources.

Man, you are just full of hate and bitterness and jealousy. It has become a cancer in your blood. Tell it to the people why Skerrit is still there. He is doing a good job and continues to do a good job. Nobody wants ugly Lenny in power. Skerrit has a plan and a vision as to where he wants to see Dominica in the next 10 years. Linton and all his grandiose plans and ideas will only take us back to the days of Christopher Columbus.

As I said before Eagle-Eyed, if your shirt ain’t dirty, why change it? All you will be doing is giving Dowasco more reason to charge you more for water in your washing machine.

I liked Timothy Harris but I turned against him since after he sent his police to Dominica on eve of our 2019 Steal-action to shoot our people just to keep his friend Skerrit in power . I couldn’t wait for the people of SKN to kick him out! Now he is out I am tempted to congratulate the new PM and government of St Kitts and Nevis but when I think of Dominica and how we have Skerrit daykalaying everything for 20 yrs, I am even ashamed to congratulate the new government of St Kitts and Nevis. I am like a friend of mine who told me she not going to nobody’s wedding not even her siblings because she has been in a relationship for 20 yrs and the man just abusing her and lying to her so she is ashamed of going to peoples wedding. But that’s exactly what Skerrit has done and continues to do to Dominica so I am so ashamed that I can’t congratulate any new government.

Papa God every smart and developing country changing their government every 6-8 years except Dom-in-a-cans that have Skerrit corrupting, destroying and using all our resources for personal use.
What hurts me is like Denzil Douglas and other government in the region that the people changed, Timothy Harris was working for the good of his people. In Dominica Skerrit is NOT working! Dominica is going backwards in every damn thing since Skerrit. He built new hospital but more people dying because of no equipment and off course what I believe is his death covenant with China; People are in a all time poor as Skerrit took all our jobs and sent them overseas so the people could look to him. He shipped Ross University to Barbados. He destroyed our banana industry to the point that since 2011 we have not shipped a box of bananas to the Uk, while all the other islands are still shipping. I mean you see poverty on the face of everyone including those that were rich! But we still Dom-in-a-cans

It is because Lawyer, the Dominican people have carried out in vestigations and discovered that UWP was the most corrupt, greedy, lying and victimizers of the people, ever to hold the reigns of power.People who could not own a house, are now living in $250,000 $300,000 and $400,000 houses and apartments.Who is going to vote a lazy greedy bunch of rogues, vagabonds and habitual criminals? Can you Marty point to anything the UWP did with the hundreds of millions of dollars received under Reengineered Citizen programme?

The results of this election is clear manifestation of the saying “the power lies with the people. “ Another poignant message is leaders must remain humble and honest. The outgoing prime minister is known for his arrogance and I am the boss attitude and after a huge victory just two years ago his party was decimated. Leaders take warning and voters be politically savvy and know the power you hold.

The PM of DA is not only known for his arrogance but also for his issues with the truth and accounting for state funds. But alas HE is still in office after 20 totally unproductive years. Doesn’t say much about Duminicans, does it. But they are known in the other islands for wearing their ignorance as a badge of honour. I heard that somewhere else, can’t recall where…

For that type of position you deserve to be arrogant. You earned it after 20+ years. If you are really a lawyer, aren’t you arrogant as well? Any body in high position, money, and what have you is arrogant and pompous. That is a given. Wait when you win a national case of the century, you will see how arrogant you gonna be. Maybe you haven’t won any yet that is why you are still humble and like to mumble and grumble. Poor lawyer.

Dominicans have no tennis balls nor do they love their country more then themselves. I actually believe they are not to bothered as long as they get the odd dollar for nothing from the CM. That mister is living like a king doesn’t bother them a lot. They have been degraded to miserable beggars.

Most Dominicans are extremely short sighted when it comes to life in general. They are used to live from one day to the next, which in reality means, if somebody displays a carrot in front of them, they will go for it and ask questions afterwards. One person (the CM) knew that all along and so far managed to play them at their own game. One thing is for sure, the CM is not going to run out of carrots but what remains… are Dominicans going to learn? I’m somewhat pessimistic, after all they had 20 years already!
