The formal funeral service for the late Mr. Julius C. Timothy, a former Minister of Government, Member of Parliament during the periods 1980-1985 and 1990-2014, and a respected businessman, is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2025.
An Office of the Prime Minister release shared that the ceremony will take place at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church beginning at 2:00 PM.
Prior to the service, a public viewing will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the St. Alphonsus Parish Hall to allow community members to pay their final respects. Additionally, the government has announced that a national Day of Mourning has been declared for November 15, during which all government flags on public buildings will be flown at half-mast.
The Government of Dominica also expressed its deepest sympathies to the family, friends, and loved ones of Mr. Julius C. Timothy during this difficult time.
