Parishioners of Our Lady of Fatima will gather on Sunday, August 4, for the 2024 Parish Fun Day. The event will be held in the Newtown church parking Lot starting at 12 noon. Activities will include a lunch sale, Flea Market, a variety show featuring performers from the parish such as the Mighty T, a two-time Junior Calypso King, the 2023 Junior Bouyon King, and the Petite Savanne Cultural Group.
Additionally, there will be games for both children and adults, along with a raffle offering prizes including a Smart Phone. According to a statement, the organizers of Parish Fun Day 2024 aim to provide a fun and relaxed environment for parishioners to engage with each other, fostering unity between church attendees and non-attendees to support the growth of the parish. This event is part of the parish’s evangelization program for 2024 and contributes to the 2024 Emancipation weekend calendar of events.
