Performing order of Calypso finalists set

The Dominica Calypso Association is set to host one of the biggest events of the Carnival season, the Calypso Finals on Saturday. During a ceremony on Tuesday, the finalists dipped to receive the number that they will perform.

They will each perform two songs.

The performing order is as follows:

  1. Liberator
  2. Shanice
  3. Bobb
  4. Joy
  5. Tasha P
  6. Webb
  7. Checker
  8. Black Diamond
  9. Reigning calypso monarch ‘Trilla G’
  10. Dice

Judges for the 2024 Calypso Finals are as follows:

  1. Ian Dorival
  2. Julian Benjamin
  3. Yola Toussaint
  4. Michael Augustine
  5. Lynn Delsol
  6. Natasha Henderson
  7. Sherma John
  8. Nadine Riviere
  9. Daniel Seraphine

Reserves

  1. Patrick Fontaine
  2. Rina Stephens

    they need to really consider shifting the places in the 2nd round. need to ease up the pressure of singing first.

      In as much as this may be a great idea it will disadvantage a few competitors when it comes to time allotted for prep.
