Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has arrived in St Lucia for the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Phillip J. Pierre today.
“Let us welcome my dear friend and comrade, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, to Saint Lucia as he joins us for my swearing-in ceremony as our nation’s 9th person and 12th Prime Minister,” Pierre said during a Facebook Post on Friday.
According to Pierre, Dominica’s Prime Minister’s presence is a testament to the deep friendship between the two countries and their shared commitment to putting people first across the Caribbean.
“Together, we continue to move forward, for the progress of our people,” he stated.

continue living in a fantasy. Philip Pierre has been nothing less than a breath of fresh air for St Lucia. Unlike what the moron Chatenet and his felon friends tried to do (castigate the SLP government as corrupt), it was proven, in the courts, that this was further from the truth. for example, they tried to use this Martinez guy to sully St. Lucia’s name but we stood boldly and at the end he had no choice but to drop his pursuit. He lost!
You, IBO France, have NO idea of what you are talking about. painting all with one brush to promote your prejudice is just ignorant.
Skerrit doesn’t put de people first
we come last
when some get a plate under de table they consider themselves blessed?
Skerrit is careful about who comes first and it’s never we de people
Seriously, we could have been much further than that
de airport project appears like it will last through another dlp term in office
some of us so blind to de reality right infront our face
but Skerrit will go and he knows dat to well
his biggest supporters still at de end of de stick
skerrit not looking for my vote……..he have a way to make his supporters believe that I voted for dlp
never in my life with skerrit as leader
Putting PEOPLE first, that is why Skerrit ain’t going nowhere.
lol he putting fist
I wish to see all these Labour Parties in the Eastern Caribbean be exterminated from the political landscape of these islands. Instead of bringing development and raising living standards, poverty, corruption, bad governance, low productivity, political polarization and tribalism flourish.
The Labour Parties are a curse to the people. The vast majority of the inhabitants are stuck below the poverty line from cradle to grave. The only people who do well during tenure are the government ministers, operatives, and zealots.
Their supporters are all the same in each territory: uncouth, belligerent, vulgar, bellicose, harsh, thuggish, dishonest, uncaring, arrogant, narcissistic, disrespectful, atrocious, diabolical, rotten, godawful.
