The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) is in pursuit of 29-year-old Grand Bay man who is wanted in connection with a shooting incident in that community.
Joewin Thomas of Highland Grand Bay is wanted by the Police for allegedly shooting 55-year-old Thomas Dangleben on January 28, 2023, according to the police.
The incident, which is said to have occurred sometime in the evening on the day of that community’s carnival opening, left Dangleben nursing injuries at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital (DCFH).
The police have since deemed Thomas a flight risk and say he may attempt to or may have left the country illegally.
Anyone having information as to his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Criminal Investigations Department at

He in Guadeloupe enjoying life
The government of Dominica needs to do something about all of these illegal guns in Dominica, people cannot be free to take others’ life just like that, especially when someone is innocent.
Look mista decorated wif fools gold. Little Gangsta fashionable in corrupt DA.
Like a week or 2 ago i remember seeing videos of that guy in grandbay. I think it was for their opening or something. More and more i am happy my parents brought me up to be a God fearing person and to respect my parents, my elders and others. Killing and maiming and hurting others easy. Too many of you young men need proper father figures in their lives. They lack discipline.
So wait, that same day he shoot the man he dancing in the streets? Must have been shortly before because the vids i saw looked like late afternoon
The #1 priority of any government is the security of its people. When police officers can killed in cold blood without spending a nanosecond behind bars; when murderers spend five and six years out on bail; when barrels of guns and ammunition disappear from custom without a trace; when we turn a blind eye to rampant corruption in government crimes escalate to next level.
No man who commits murder should go unpunished. I hope this suspect is located, arrested and dragged before a stern judge. If he is found guilty by a jury of his peers and put away in isolation for life.
*dancehall beat drops*
Yuh See
She love gun man…
Call what?Put picture in all news paper, all public buildings, all police stations.all airport and seaport, all local tv stations ,on lamp poles in all villages. There should be a reward of $10,000 leading to his arrest. The minister of national security Rayburn Blackmore should make sure there is a fund at police headquarters to pay informants.
should could would. But your inept government and minister of national security wont do diddly squat. you are such a complete fool but im sure you would do a better job than Rayburn. Sad to say but this is what clowns like you have oted for and continue to support. These inadequacies, short comings, lack of accountability, and just general mismanagement of the country.
I am trying to figure out why are they looking for him when people don’t go to jail in Dominica. You have murders and rapist walking the streets of Dominica for years before a case can call. Our legal system is such a joke it’s not funny anymore. I thought when the PM said he was going to revamp his government he was going to put people in place to fix the system. He put back a man in-charge of security that was and is part of the broken system. I love my country I just hope one day we adopt a system that will benefit the law abiding citizens and not the criminals and politicians.
Boy, big gold chain, ring designer clothes and mister looking well fed. Well, there must be money in Grandbay then. Agriculture must be paying I guess. Don’t tell me police have not got a sniff of him but maybe they scared?
He can run but he can’t hide. The same place he running is where he going to stick. He messed with the wrong person.
Boy I eh want to laugh at such a serious thing but but but …you so bad that you shoot the man but now you running like a little girl that think a jumbie in the outside toilet.
When are these guys going to learn that you cannot run and hide from the law? It will eventually catch up with you. But on another note I hope the police catch him before them Dangleben get a hold of him. Them there nice and don’t look for trouble but when the french blood go up in their head is daybar eh. So partner give up yourself if you know what better for you.
Grand Bay people doesn’t know anyone by the name of Joewin Thomas of Highland Grand Bay. If the police.is.asking for assistance they have to get their facts right. Either the police or DNO is being misled.
Grand Bay is the cesspit of Dominica and has been for the past 20 years. That begs the questions why doesn’t the CM just for once utilise his ever increasing Militia to do the job they are actually mend to do. Surely we don’t need all these police officers just to guard Skerrit and his family and members of the cabal. What is their real purpose???
The punishment for those crimes are too lenient….Life is no longer respected in this country, because no one cares. Criminals are armed, law abiding citizens are unarmed, the police force is compromised with politics, and the country is descending into lawlessness!!!
Say what you all want, but if those rascals and scamps knew that they would be behind bars for 25 years once caught with an unliscenced gun, they would think twice..Dont be surprised when those same people escalate into mass shooting.
Montine Grand Bay. Not Highland. Get it right
No sprite then, that Montine place always made me feel uneasy. Trust me I know what I am talking about.
Tetemorne is no better than Montin. Allu too foolish, sitting way up there on de mountain behind god’s back.
He live at Highland, it’s all Grandbay people with stupid attitude 🙄
Just see how police have Chaplain as an informant that they know Terrorise a challenged or mad padna, who had to cutlass him in self defend, then he burn the guy place, yet he free and used as an informant, never sleeps, up all nite looking for people things. All sick, part of that community problem.
