They stress out and they selling weed and crack cocaine.Selling weed and cocaine is not unemployment,it is like selling fruits, fish or vegetables. So you are saying the people who chose to sell drugs are stressed out?So with your high level of stupidity you think the man just kill the other man for no reason?Macoucherie,by the playing is an isolated area, the estate of Dense Shillingford on the road to Bwed and Grois Morne,in the area of petite Macoucherie,Cuba and Carholm.Area of weed.Foolish.It is not the first time a person has been killed in that area.
There is no police service in Dominica. There is the CDPF not CDPS.Only a Jacka with a PhD in jackaism would continue to talk about police service. Those are the truth DNO fear to post.Crimes in Dominica increased when UWP launched a political attack on the police force. The dismissed the chief of police, his deputy and several police officers,in the process they crippled the esprit de corps, the brotherhood and the togetherness and trust which once existed in the force.UWP daycallay the police force.
Let’s not only criticize the police force, yes they are here to do the job they get paid to do wish is protect and served, I understand they do the complete opposite, but let not forget our youngsters right now, is not believing in working from 8 to 4 or 9 to 5 anymore. They more concerned about Faust money and we all know where that leading to. We need to make them believe working hard is greater than do drugs.
Pit Bull…I get your drift but they cant work 8-4 or 9-5 when there are no jobs or even markets for products should they go into agriculture. Plus, they were made to depend on a hand-out system that is inconsistent and flawed at best. Having realized that, the police should rework their crime fighting strategies to ensure that it is applicable to the current situation.
Believe me bro, Dca is like a pressure cooker and the only thing keeping the poor folks afloat especially the ghetto youths is the underground economy better known as drugs, prostitution and thieving.
There is sooooooo much thieving and prostitution in Ma Dominique you would shudder to know the people doing it. So when they the youth mess with each others money, the cost can be catastrophic as we can see. We definitely need a revolution in Ma Dominique!
Yes, every young, healthy adult should work to earn for themselves. By the sweat of the bra th shall eat. Got it.
Unfortunately, in Dominica, unemployment is through the roof. Finding a reasonable paying job is like finding a lost earring in the Amazon forest. The present economy is similar to an electrocardiogram (EKG) displaying a flat line.
All these gruesome murders are pointing to people being stressed out and frustrated. But my concern is, they passing their stress and frustration on the wrong people. They need to go to those that stressed them out with their corruption and fix their problems
This is so, so, sad that our younger people know nothing better than to slash their fellow young men and women to death and walk away. How can they continue to live with that behavior on their minds?
These shootings and fatalities will continue until a comprehensive, strategic crime plan is put in place.
Community policing, stop and search, plugging the holes in the porous borders, sophisticated scanners at all ports of entry, 24/7 surveillance of our coastal areas, swift justice, ongoing training of officers in evidence collection, securing the crime scene, investigative techniques, meritorious promotions of all officers, and finally complete depolicization of the police service should be in place.
The present police service in Dominica leaves much to be desired. Too much incompetence, partisan politics, school dropouts, lack of ongoing training of officer among other flaws plague law enforcement.
Police are here to help to keep order in society. However, in Dominica the police do the total opposite they preserve disorder.
Wow! Every time you listen to the news coming from these Caribbean islands another gruesome murder has gone down. Life for these murderers is not sacred anymore. But what is even more frightening is nonchalant manner we treat these untimely deaths. Too many citizens have become desensitized to this unnatural phenomenon.
Failing to plan is planning to fail. Where is the strategic crime plan in Dominica to curb these senseless killings. What is the detection rate for these murders? So many murderers are among the normal civilian population.
We must work together if we are to put a dent in this scourge.
“Failing to plan is planning to fail. Where is the strategic crime plan in Dominica to curb these senseless killings. What is the detection rate for these murders? So many murderers are among the normal civilian population.” ….very well said my brother!
However, anyone in the upper command structure within the CDPF reading this would need help understanding what you wrote. Not that they are illiterate, but rather they lack the ability to comprehend such basic principles. Adding insult to injury, they spend wayyyy toooo much time gleefully sniffing the posterior of cabalist and politicians to give a foo-chet about fighting crime. I continue to say its time for revolution (various meanings) in Ma Dominique. Can someone hear me now?
