Portsmouth Football Academy delivers youth football festival through regional partnership

Under-11 and Under-13 football players from Dominica and Guadeloupe convened last week in Portsmouth at a youth football festival, led by the Portsmouth Football Academy in partnership with Sport Aid Dominica and Roosevelt Skerrit Bombers FC.

Staged on Thursday, April 9, 2026, a press release shared that the gathering was a lively platform that showcased technical ability, cooperation, and fair play. The organizers also said that the event reflected ongoing progress in grassroots football development within the region.

Support from Hon. Fenella Wenham Sheppard, Trois Piton Water, Roy Larocque, Benji’s Muliti-Trade, and the Dominica Football Association played a key role in delivering a well-organized and meaningful competition.

Club Sport Guadeloupe claimed the U-13 title after completing the tournament without a loss. Their campaign concluded with a 3–0 win against Newtown JFA in the final match.
