Portsmouth man hospitalized following shooting incident

One man is nursing injuries at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital (DCFH) following a shooting incident that occurred in Portsmouth on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

According to information from police sources, the man has been identified as Prinston George of Picard, Portsmouth.

The police further informed Dominica News Online (DNO) that George was shot multiple times, in the lower parts of his body. The incident occurred at about 9:00 PM.
