Preparation continues and work steadily progresses for the World Creole Music Festival(WCMF) 2025

Preparation works are ongoing and steadily progressing for the  25th Edition of the World Creole Music Festival (WCMF).

This was according to Festivals and Events Manager at Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) Ayodele Andrew while addressing the weekly WCMF press conference held on Thursday.

The festival is scheduled to take place from October 24 to 26, 2025 at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.

“Preparation works are ongoing and we are steadily progressing at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium,” she said.  “All our major infrastructure and setup are already complete ensuring we deliver a safe, comfortable and visually spectacular environment for all three nights.”

She continued, “We are ready to open the gates to the Windsor Park Sports Stadium 8 days away.”

Furthermore, Andrew said in relation to the forecourt experience the atmosphere will be elevated and it will be transformed into a lively cultural hub featuring a diversity of foods and beverages.

“This is the perfect space for everyone to immerse themselves in the ambiance before and between the main performances,” she stated.

 Night One: Fire & Foundation — Friday, October 24

A tribute to the pioneers and influential figures who have shaped Caribbean music:

Meanwhile, in a previous statement the show’s Organizers stated:
