Joke that man. In two weeks time Charles Savarin will be out of office and the man looking so rundown and fragile and is he Skerrit sending to his UN? So why is the big mouth Roosevelt Skerrit himself not heading the delegation to the UN? So it seems to be true the the coward Roosevelt Skerrit’ is afraid of the US man? Skerrit are you scared of the FBI and a possible arrest? If not go to the UN to talk about climate change and how you have made Dominant the first climate resilient country in the whole world

Skerrit doesn’t venture onto US soil anymore. One wonders why? Is he on the wanted list of their law enforcement agencies? One way or another, it should give Dominicans plenty to think about!

Nothing Roosevelt enjoys more than travelling overseas, hogging the spotlight, and rubbing shoulders with very prominent and wealthy world leaders. For him not to seize the opportunity with both hands to travel to the UN, is shockingly befuddling. Something is amiss.

Does he think the FBI is lying in wait for him? He knows that there are many accusations swirling around him because of his relationships with some of the world’s most notorious con men and fugitives. His day of reckoning is finally drawing nigh.

These small countries go to the UN every September and basically talk to an empty chamber. Mostly members of their delegations are the only persons that occupy the seats.

These heads of each delegation sing the same refrain every time – Climate change/resilience, debt forgiveness, grants, et cetera.

When they return home to their respective countries they tell the unsuspecting media about their bilateral talks with leaders and ambassadors of super rich countries, and how many MOUs they have signed to bring much needed development and jobs to their countries.

Unfortunately, the lot of the poverty stricken citizens remains firmly intact. Nothing is gained.
