MSN reports that President Donald Trump has created a “Presidential Walk of Fame” where he has hung plaques underneath portraits of former presidents with mocking tributes to his predecessors.
The comments under his recent predecessors such as former presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden appear to have been written by Trump in the style he commonly uses on social media such as Truth Social.
The claims on the plaques have been criticized as false or unfounded by the msn report while Trump has described the new addition as “a tribute to past Presidents, good, bad, and somewhere in the middle, who served our Country, and gave up so much in so doing,”.
On the plaque for Biden (the only tribute with no portrait) Trump has written: “Sleepy Joe Biden was, by far, the worst President in American History,” adding that he took office “as a result of the most corrupt Election ever seen in the United States” and that “Biden oversaw a series of unprecedented disasters that brought our Nation to the brink of destruction.”
This addition is the latest in a string of controversial renovations and changes to the White House by Trump.
He has previously removed the historical Rose Garden to make way for a grand ballroom funded by supporters with a most recent estimated cost of 400 million USD.
Construction is still underway for the new ballroom which is planned to be much larger than any other building currently on the White House Campus.
