President of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Her Excellency Sylvanie Burton, recently emphasized the importance of the President’s Charities Foundation’s Annual Fundraising Dinner, urging patrons that this year’s gala is aimed at “ensuring that no one in Dominica is left behind.”
In a press release, Her Excellency recounted that the funds raised in previous installments were applied to various sectors, “from supporting children’s education to caring for our elderly and persons with disabilities.”
Scheduled for Saturday, October 11, 2025, beginning at 6:00 PM, the event will take place at the Jungle Bay Resort & Spa, located in Morne Acouma, Soufrière. President Burton, along with her husband, Mr. Burton, will be in attendance as is customary.
According to the press release, attendees can look forward to a three-course meal accompanied by entertainment, with all proceeds directed toward charitable organizations that support children, senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and vulnerable populations across Dominica.
It also outlined that formal attire is required, and seating arrangements are limited.
“Since its inception, the Annual Fundraising Dinner has raised substantial funds for organizations providing education, care, and support services to communities throughout Dominica”, stated organizers.
Tickets are available at a cost of EC$240 and can be obtained from Foundation members or by calling (767) 266-3333 or (767) 266-4267.

I don’t even have a modicum of respect for this lady. She is supremely unfit for the presidency. Just a poodle of the most notorious Liar in the history of Dominica politics. She occupies the presidential palace, dines on the best foods, reads a few scripts handed to her occasionally, attends par-lie-a-ment once per annum, and enjoys a lavished lifestyle at the expense of poor taxpayers’ money.

This President has done more for the underprivileged of this island and this entire region than anyone else! Her service to God and her dedication to this nation are second to none!
