Building on the success of the group exhibition originally titled “Paradise of Colours and Expressions”, Waitukubuli Artist Association, in collaboration with The Prevo Cinemall, has announced that they will keep the show going in the run-up to the Christmas holidays.
Organizers revealed in a press release that the exhibition has been thoughtfully reimagined into a festive continuation, now called “Christmas in Paradise,” reflecting the spirit of the holiday season.

Following what they say was an overwhelmingly positive response from the public, the participating artists were invited to extend the exhibition and reinterpret their works through a holiday lens. This adaptation aims to infuse “the warmth, rhythm, and spirit of Dominica’s Christmas into an already celebrated showcase of colour and creativity.”
“Christmas in Paradise” features works by some of Dominica’s most respected and beloved artists, including Lennox Honychurch, Earl Etienne, Michael Lees, Edward Collins, Lowell “OMtNI” Royer, among others.
“Together, their works capture the magic of the Christmas season, where tradition meets contemporary expression, and paradise glows with festive cheer,” said the statement.

In addition to the artworks available for purchase, the exhibition hosts a variety of events designed to entertain and inspire visitors. These include “Lyrics Under the Stars,” a music, poetry, and dance showcase; Christmas face painting for children; and art workshops led by local artists. Entrance to the exhibition is free, although contributions are welcomed. Several special events require a small fee and are open to the public.
Upcoming activities include a Calligraphy Workshop by Jenae Bell on Monday, December 15, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM; a “Meet the Artist” session featuring Sandra Vivas and her work on Thursday, December 18, at 6:30 PM; a tribute concert titled “Lyrics Under the Stars: Tribute to Jimmy Cliff” scheduled for Friday, December 19, at 7 PM and 10 PM; a Papier Maché Workshop led by Margaux LaRocque on Monday, December 22, at 5:30 PM; Christmas face painting in the courtyard on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 23 and 24, from 10 AM to 6 PM; and portrait sketching in the courtyard during the same dates from 2 PM to 6 PM.
The exhibition remains open at the Middle Passage of Prevo Cinemall, with operating hours from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. It will be on view from Saturday, December 13, 2025, through Saturday, January 10, 2026.
