Founded on November 2, 1974, the Rotary Club of Dominica has established itself as a cornerstone of volunteerism and leadership. Throughout its history, the club has actively supported a wide array of initiatives spanning education, healthcare, youth programs, and efforts to strengthen community resilience. The club’s team said that its collaborations with both local and international organizations have consistently aimed to enhance lives and promote Rotary’s worldwide principle, “Service Above Self.”
During the celebration, members reportedly reminisced about notable achievements, such as literacy enhancement programs in schools, projects providing clean water, and disaster relief efforts following Tropical Storm Erika and Hurricane Maria.
President, PHF, Dr. Jermaine Jewel Jean-Pierre, expressed appreciation for the unwavering commitment of club members. In her speech, she stated,“Tonight, we celebrate not only our history but also our ongoing commitment to building a better Dominica through service, fellowship, and innovation,” she said.
