The Rotary Club of Dominica, in collaboration with TradeUP! by the Firestone Group and ChariTEES® of Boca Raton, Florida, has announced a scholarship program aimed at supporting one Dominican student in their quest for higher education. This scholarship offers the opportunity to study online for one year specifically in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Palm Beach State College.
Eligible candidates must have completed secondary education and hold at least five O Level certifications, along with fulfilling the college’s admission criteria. Those who have prior experience in the Hospitality or Tourism sectors will be given preference in the selection process.
The scholar chosen for this award will earn a College Certificate in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Additionally, they will have the option to continue their academic journey by pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in the same field at their own expense.
Interested participants are encouraged to submit a comprehensive application, including a curriculum vitae and a brief essay outlining their interest in the program, to the Rotary Club of Dominica. Applications must be sent via email to [email protected] by the deadline of January 15, 2025.
