Building upon the success of the inaugural Bike Festival event in 2024, Nature Island Riders and 767 Bike Life are set to inaugurate the second edition on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 2:30 PM, at the Canefield Airport.
According to the Discover Dominica Authority, the opening event will be broadcast live on the Dominica Festivals Facebook page and will receive coverage from local media outlets.
Members of the public are encouraged to watch the live stream for a sneak peek of this year’s festival offerings, which organizers say will include new features, safety guidelines, and opportunities for community participation. The 2025 Bike Festival aims to showcase thrilling stunt performances, attract well-known motorcyclists, and invite regional biker communities to join the celebration.
Monelle Alexis, a Communications and Public Relations Specialist at Discover Dominica Authority, expressed enthusiasm about the festival’s rising prominence, stating, “The Bike Festival is rapidly establishing itself as a key summer event for Dominica. We welcome everyone, whether locally or internationally, to join the live launch and become part of this expanding movement.”
The press conference will feature speeches from representatives of the local biker scene, the Royal Dominica Police Force, as well as the Fire and Ambulance Services, culminating in a live stunt demonstration.
Monelle Alexis gives details here:
More and more ocean polluting cruise ships, tourists getting in the water with whales like a theme park ride, no professional management of hiking trails, no professional management of coral reefs, endless drinking, and now an air and noise polluting motorbike festival? Seriously? You can no longer call yourself nature island. Absolutely no way. Buyer beware!
since when the CDPF is a Royal establishment?
How is a motorbike festival compatible with the ethos of ‘nature island’? It isn’t. Not only does it go against anything and everything that is nature and environmentally friendly, it is perhaps the most pertinent example of how wayward and ridiculous Dominica’s tourism ministry and its agents have become.
