Female calypsonian Shanice Langford who goes by the stage-name, ‘Shanice’ has been crowned the new Stardom Monarch of the Tent.
She emerged victorious following a tight competition held last night at ‘My Mother’s Place’ formerly known as the Evergreen Hotel singing her popular song “Experts”.
Shanice competed among calypsonians to include, Deros, Shadow Flow, Luchious, Abiyah, Webb, Checker, Son of the Saint, Trendsetter, Mika, Mighty D, Mystrie, Jaydee, Karessah, Danyan, Intruder, Observer, Mighty Omee and Tasha P.
She is also a finalist in the much-anticipated Calypso Finals Competition scheduled to take place this Saturday.
Narrin Murphy (Trendsetter) secured 2nd place followed by Tasha P in 3rd place and Webb placed 4th.
