I wish them all good luck. I still can’t figure out how you can have a whole fantastic genre of music without any mention whatsoever of Africa. Weird, very weird, what we trying to roll Kaiso like the Bible? Who’s behind that?

I know, that brings to mind Hunter’s tune Habi Ma bibi, whatever it meant sounded African, which put him in a class all by himself to this day.

Say what you want about our Schizoid fellow Dominicans, they certainly are a musically astute and talented folk.

Whether you agree with their lyrical content or not, their creative and catchy renditions will have you reflexively tapping your feet.

Congrats and all the best to all 20 semi finalists who poured their creativity, heart and soul into every song and rendition.

Even in the face of deep and bitter political divide, our head, feet and even backsides put aside partisan politics for a season to fairly judge and groove to the lyrical offerings of our crooning compatriots.

Well-loved. Like or Dislike: Thumb up 5 Thumb down 0
