
Heidi Ellick of South City, Grandbay has copped the 2024 Miss Wob Dwiyet Title.
She outperformed six other contestants at a competition held at the Old Mill Cultural Centre last night to capture that title.
She also received the awards for Best in Wob Dwiyet and the People’s Choice Award.
Jasileah Jacob of Paix Bouche secured the 1st runner-up position. She captured the award for Best Spectacular Wear, while Byanka Thomas of Massacre grabbed the 2nd runner-up spot. She received the award for Best Performing Talent.
The awards for Miss Amity and Miss Photogenic were won by Zoryda Lewis who represented Soufriere.
The other contestants were Ciara Andrew who represented Morne Rachete, Estaissia Laville of Warner,
and Treasure Anthony who represented Canefield.
Last year’s winner was Tanisha Balson of Fond Canie.
The event was organized by the Division of Culture.
