The St. Kitts-Nevis Prime Minister of St.Kitts-Nevis Parliament has been dissolved to make way for general elections in the twin-island federation.
Prime Minister, Dr. Timothy Harris, made the announcement earlier this evening but he gave no date for elections.
Below is an excerpt from Prime Minister Harris’ address to the nation in which he made the announcement. This excerpt was originally posted by the Nationa Barbados.
Hope that D##as. that always call Q95 from St. Kitts and always takes Dominica problem to be his own will have something to talk about now.
What Dominica internal business has to do with him, he only knows.
Making matters worst; some idiots aligned with the UWP and some Q95 talk show host encourages such behavior. this Kittian INSULTS every fabric of governance in the country. He critics everything on the island yet the talk show hosts of Q95 accepts and endorse all the crap this A##HOLE spews.
I’d like to let this PUNK to know, donkey has no right in horse race. He must stop poking his nose in Dominica’s affairs He must learn to keep his lane.
@Zandoli
Why that most frivolous comment? Why not comment on the substantive matters that the man has articulated? Leave that sort of comment for the unlettered, the ignorant and the simpletons.
I understand that St. Kitts &Nevis is the hub of the Caribbean as many people of different Caribbean nationalities are taking up permanent residence there. I don’t trust politicians as politicians and the truth are mutually ex,usive. However, from all independent reports and reviews, the Timothy Harris led government has delivered. Do the research for yourselves to verify this. Economically they have outperformed all other Caribbean governments. They have given civil servants four consecutive double salaries at the end of the last four years. Civil servants in Dominica have not received a raise in salary for over a decade. Should Dominicans migrate to St. Kitts &Nevis to get an increase and a double salary?
St Kitts /Nevis making progress while Dominica is in the deepest of mess. Yet laborites in Dominica are supporting Denzel Douglas, a friend of Skerrit who holds a Dominica Diplomatic passport of Dominica and used it to travel. Fortunately, Denzel Douglas was not caught committing any transgression with our passport. But on the other hand UWP supporters are supporting Prime Minister Timothy Harriis, although that same Timothy Harris plotted with CARICOM leaders to send troops to invade our country, when we stood for the same free and fair elections that caused Timothy Harriis to become Prime Minister. Timothy Harris’ effort helped Skerrit to steal another election and yes, his action prevented Lennox Linton from becoming prime minister. So two evils and non is better than the other. One thing I can understand why laborites supporting Denzel Douglas but though I can understand why UWp supporters are not supporting Denzel Douglas I don’t understand support for Timothy Harriis either.
I don’t know who to support. Is there a third party to turn to? First, I cannot support Mr. Timothy Harris because he agreed with Skerrit and sent his police to shoot us when we stood against Skerrit and election fraud in our own country. So NO way can I support him this time though I was one of his strong supporters. As for that Denzel Douglas? No difference between he and Skerrit, and I hope the people of St Kitts/ Nevis send him to sell diplomatic passports with Skerrit. The likes of Denzel Douglas, Roosevelt Skerrit, Gaston Brown and Ralph Gonsalves are all very bad news for our Caribbean politics and development.
I have a friend who does business in most of the Caribbean islands. He told me he cannot get anywhere unless he pays the various government officials. They are all corrupt. Every single one. He is also trying to do business in Dominica. You can draw your own conclusion.
I really don’t care about St Kitts and Nevis election. In fact I have a very strong dislike for all Caribbean leaders today because they all behaving like greedy slave masters that want to stay in power to enslave poor people. That’s why I can’t stand that CARICOM nonsense at all. It is all about those leaders working together to remain in power. Back to the article. Who do I support:
Timothy Harriis: I don’t like Timothy Harris, because he sent his Police officers to Dominica, as part of the CARICOM INVASION of Dominica, to help Roosevelt Skerrit shoot our people when we stood up for election reform and Skerrit’s plot to steal our election. So Timothy Harris has betrayed my trust by his evil action and he should go!
Densil Douglas: I dislike this guy even more than Timothy Harriis. In fact Douglas is one of the CARICOM leaders along with the one from St. Vincent I dislike the most. Douglas betrayed his people when he accepted our Diplomatic passport from the very corrupt…
Why is this guy speaking with a German accent?
I hope this traitor is kicked out of office. Then again it’s a matter for the electorate in St Kitts and Nevis.
