St. Mary’s Academy alumni on a quest to restore and rebuild the institution

In a show of unity and commitment, alumni of St. Mary’s Academy (SMA) gathered for an in-person convening at their alma mater, aiming to restore and rebuild the institution that shaped their formative years. The event brought together alumni from at home and abroad, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose.

The day began with an assembly, welcoming attendees back to the halls of St. Mary’s Academy. Alumni were treated to an insightful overview of the school’s progress and ongoing initiatives, highlighting both achievements and areas in need of urgent renovation, such as the roof and various learning spaces.

Participants enjoyed a nostalgic tour of the academy, revisiting familiar classrooms and discovering the latest developments, all while reflecting on the profound impact the school has had on their lives. The gathering included an interactive Q&A session, allowing the “old boys” of the SMA to voice their thoughts and inquiries regarding the school’s future plans.

The event ended with a resounding call to action, urging alumni to contribute to the academy’s growth and success. The spirit of collaboration was palpable, as attendees left inspired to join hands in this vital initiative to ensure St. Mary’s Academy continues its important role in education.
