Stardom Calypso Tent makes grand return for Carnival 2024

The Stardom Calypso Tent is set to make a triumphant return for the 2024 season, with a spectacular showcase scheduled for today, Wednesday, January 10th, from 8:30 pm at the Anchorage Hotel.

This event marks a celebratory comeback, promising an evening filled with unparalleled entertainment and musical excellence, according to organizers.

“This highly anticipated event serves as a precursor to the upcoming Grand Quarter Finals, which are scheduled for Saturday, January 13th, 2024. The Stardom Calypso Tent will proudly display the incredible talents of its esteemed members, who are prepared to astound audiences with their lyrical prowess and captivating performances,” Stardom Tent stated in a press release..

The tent will open its doors at 8:30 pm sharp, setting the stage for an electric atmosphere. Attendees can expect a sneak peek into the brilliance that awaits at the Grand Quarter Finals. The Stardom Calypso Tent extends an invitation to all enthusiasts of calypso music and vibrant performances to join them for an unforgettable experience.

The lineup includes renowned calypsonians such as Comforter, Joy, King Jaydee, Mighty D, Chris B, King Daddy Chess, Black Diamond, Mighty Omee, Shadow Flow, Checker, Bingo, De Healer, King Karessa, Monarch Tasha P, Shanice, Royette, King Observer, Abiya, Trendsetter, Myka, De Webb, Danyan, Jamma B, and De Oracle. The event will also see the return of Dyno, Intruder, Mystrie, Son of the Saint, and King Trilla G, all backed up by the Swinging Stars Band.

Stardom Calypso Tent is encouraging calypso lovers to show up for “an evening of musical brilliance and anticipation” ahead of the Grand Quarter Finals tonight from 8:30 p.m. at Anchorage Hotel.
