Dear Friends:
As we close 2025, I’m reflecting on the dedication of our wonderful team in the Caribbean Division of the Nature Conservancy, and the steady progress they are driving across the region. With their local leadership advancing our shared vision across 17 nations and territories, the past year brought meaningful momentum toward a nature-positive future that benefits both people and nature.
I am so pleased to share our 2025 year-end video with you. In it, you’ll hear directly from our leaders as they reflect on milestones from this year and what they mean for the Caribbean’s irreplaceable biodiversity and the communities that depend on it.
In 2025, our team advanced conservation from ridge to reef, pairing global-level innovation with on-the-ground partnership. We accelerated coral restoration with learning exchanges to build the capacity to strengthen resilience of Caribbean reefs, raised awareness of solutions that reduce water pollution and its impacts on coasts and waterways, and leveraged the science and tools that help countries plan for a Nature-Positive Future. Throughout this work, we remained focused on durable impact by working alongside governments, communities, and regional partners to build an enduring and interconnected ecosystem for conservation.
Thank you for standing with us, and for standing with the Caribbean. With appreciation for your generous support of our work, please find attached a holiday greeting from all of us on the team.
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season and a healthy, hopeful start to 2026.
With gratitude and warm wishes,
Rob Brumbaugh
