Team Unity Dominica (TUD) joins with the Government and people of Dominica to express sympathy to the family and friends of Hon. Alix Boyd-Knights who passed on August 29, 2023.
We are deeply saddened and our team joins family, friends, and mourners in their grief. Speaker Emerita Boyd-Knights was not only one of the longest-serving speakers, globally, but she espoused other professional interests and traits which made her someone of extraordinary interest.
She has served her nation, and we recognize her for this. We pray for those who grieve: her family, relatives, associates, staff and friends, government officials and dignitaries with whom she worked, and all people of good will.
She has left a void.

I strongly disagree with TUD, she did NOT serve the nation, she only served herself and her political master. For that reason, the nation and the people of DA are ultimately better off.
I disagree that the passing of Alix Boyd Knight has left a void. I believe that she was a void. Her biased, one-sided approach as the speaker of the house of assembly sowed the seeds for the malaise the country is in now. Nothing lasts forever.
Well, well. Let this be a warning to all the kleptos who think they will live forever stealing the citizens money. Each and every one of you will GO and meet your maker, sooner or later. Even the chief of greed too.
