Organizers are gearing up to host the annual ‘Ti-Vilaj Kwéyòl – Tout Biten Domnik” this year.
According to a post from the Dominica Festivals Facebook Page on Monday, the event, which is in its fourth year, will be held on October 20-23 at the Botanic Gardens.
The four-day event will form part of the activities for the 2025 Independence season
“Ti-Vilaj Kwéyòl is an activity that brings together the heart of our culture- Kalinago tradition, children in creole wear, local music, dance, art, fashion, food, and the creativity of our small businesses,” the post said. “This is where our Creole Season comes alive – and you must be there to experience it.”
This initiative is a collaborative effort involving several government ministries, including Labour, Sports, and Service Reform; Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development; Agriculture, Fisheries, Blue and Green Economy; Culture, Youth, Sports, and Community Development; Foreign Affairs, International Business, Trade and Energy; Tourism; Housing and Urban Development; and Environment. The organizers report that they are working alongside key public and private sector partners to ensure the success of this culturally enriching festival.
