Vendor display from Ti Vilaj Kwéyòl 2023

The products, skills, and talents of close to 100 small businesses will be on display today and the rest of the week during the 4th Annual Ti Vilaj Kwéyòl-‘Tout Biten Domnik event.

The four-day event, which was first introduced in October 2022, replaced the annual Creole in The Park (CITP), a precursor event leading to the World Creole Music Festival (WCMF).

The annual event offers both locals and tourists an opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich cultural tapestry of Dominica.

Minister of State with responsibility for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development, Daren Pinard, said Dominica’s major bands will be featured at the event, “So we want to invite everybody to come to the  Ti Vilaj Kwéyòl and experience, and immerse in our culture, in our food, in our dress, in our language, and in our dance.”

Meanwhile, organizers have announced that the Ti Vilaj Opening Ceremony start time is pushed back to 1 PM.

The original published time was 11:00 AM. No reason was given for the delay.
