Kamla Persad-Bissessar, the Honorable Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, expressed her country’s strong dedication to being an active partner in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

During the opening of the 50th annual meeting of CARICOM’s Heads of Government in St. Kitts and Nevis on February 24, 2025, she emphasized, “We will work with CARICOM; we are vested in CARICOM, we’ve been there from day one, and we are going to be there … CARICOM is very vital.”

She also restated Trinidad and Tobago’s support for bringing stability and peace back to fellow CARICOM territory, Haiti, and highlighted her country’s ongoing commitment to the regional organization.

Madam Kamla. People in the region don’t take you seriously. You are a wolf in sheep’s clothing carrying out Trump’s agenda for the region. You are such a hypocrite. On one hand you say you won’t establish relations with Cuba because it does not have a democratically elected government, while at the same time welcoming rich Arab states ruled by monarchy rather by elections, with open arms. You accuse Venezuela of threatening T&T and Guyana but you collaborate with Trump to violently attack Venezuela and kidnap it’s leader and his wife. You are not Trust worthy. I hope you will continue to be sidelined by the rest of CARICOM, even after Trump is no longer in office. The Trini’s will wake up one day and boot you out.

Well done Kamala. All the crooks that kissed up to Maduro exhaust pipe and remained silent when he threatened T&T and Guyana has rotten egg on their faces now. They are so darn corrupt its not hard to see. But, you got them good in your speech infront of Marco Rubio so he could see them squirm. Chichi was looking for somewhere to hide but there was no place. Fire BURN them! Long live T&T!
