Triple Kay International to bring live bouyon music to Miami Broward One Carnival Jouvert

Triple Kay International, popular representatives of bouyon music from Dominica, will perform live for the first time at the Miami Broward One Carnival Jouvert. This performance is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 8 AM to 3 PM at the Broward County Cricket Stadium in Sunrise, Florida, as part of the Riverland Mas Band, organized by Fantastic 5 Entertainment.

Bouyon music has seen a significant revival in recent years, attracting audiences at carnivals worldwide. Its engaging rhythms and energetic beats have become essential elements of festive occasions, promoting cultural unity and encouraging communal celebration through dance. This year, Triple Kay International will bring the lively spirit of bouyon to the Miami Broward One Carnival, enhancing the Jouvert experience.

As the largest event on Saturday, the Miami Broward One Carnival Jouvert draws over 7,000 participants each year, featuring 22 diverse bands. Riverland Mas is poised to make a notable impression, particularly with the live performance by Triple Kay International. Their popular track “Whistle While You Work” is anticipated to be a key highlight along the Jouvert route, generating enthusiasm among attendees.

The influence of a live band on audience engagement is significant. The presence of live music fosters an energetic environment, motivating participants to dance, sing, and immerse themselves in the festivities. The performance by Triple Kay International is expected to not only entertain but also cultivate a sense of community and shared enjoyment, making this Jouvert a memorable occasion.

Mr. Benji from Triple Kay International expressed, “We are excited to bring the essence of Dominica to the Miami Broward One Carnival. This performance transcends music; it is a celebration of culture, unity, and the joy of carnival.”
