The 2024 Calypso competition kicked off last night with 43 contenders vying for a spot in the Quarter Finals. But from the outset, only twelve were destined to make it. They are: Trendsetter, Observer, Royette, Jamma B, De Webb, Sye, Micah, De Oracle, Danyan, Abiyah, Enlightener, and Liberator.
The reserves are: Mystery, Mask Eruption, and Lady Esse.

Duncan Stowe, Cecil Joseph waste of time when it come to calpyso, Bya.s like you know what, even that they trying to kill in dominica ,soon you will see skerrit on stage competing with DBS , Sour Sour, Walks Up, and Son of the Saints .
Observer as the president of calypso in dominica why are you all not boycotting calypso for carnival , every year you coming on the radio and complain they not giveing calypsoian a break during Creole festival and you all still on stage singing.
Observer you know if its not calypso there is no carnival why are you all not taking a stand for the sake of the art form, calypso is carnival, and carnival is calypso do somthing let the organizers know the power of calypso ,unless you all don’t do that they will always dis you guys, stop singing for one year and you all will see.
Time for the judges to move on and away, total waste
