The Dominica Chess Federation organized its inaugural Under-18 Junior Chess Tournament from December 17 to December 19, 2024. A total of 25 young participants engaged in this noteworthy event, which took place at the Dominica State College. Following the completion of nine rounds of competition, the top rankings were as follows:

2. Helric Passani (Academix) – 7.5 points
3. Walson Pacquette (PCSS) – 6.5 points
4. Cajani Dejean (SMA) – 6 points
Among the female participants, the leading positions were achieved by:

– Desalee Daniel (CHS) – 5 points
– Kelly Huang (DGS) – 4 points
